Sway Bar : The sway bar is designed to connect the spring or the axle when the inertia puts pressure on one side of the vehicle or the other. By connecting the axle’s wheels with a sway bar, the vehicle can maintain control when a fast hard turn is made. A sway bay is made out of spring like steel that has a little flex to it to absorb the inertia of turning.
Sway bars use sway bar links to connect to the control arms and mounts to connect to the frame. If there are any problems, it is usually noises caused by worn links or mounts. Rarely, a sway bar can snap requiring a replacement part.
