AIR BAG SENSOR
Air Bag Sensor : This very important sensor is what sets off your airbags in a collision. The sensor is designed to tell the air bag module/ computer which direction the impact came from, which part(s) of the car were damaged. The air bag computer then can determine which airbags to deploy. Air bag sensors must be replaced after a crash with new sensors. They are installed on various places on the car’s frame. The automotive manufacturer does many crash tests to determine where they are installed and how they are built.
